Camperdown: Portrait of a Town

Every town has stories to tell. The saga of the town is told in its streetscapes, what has been preserved and what has been discarded. Camperdown has preserved many of its old buildings and has the added bonus of being located on the site of not-so-ancient volcanic activity, resulting in a series of crater lakes and a perfect conical peak overlooking the town, Mount Leura. In other ways Camperdown is typical of Australian small towns.
